Ok bought the bike 2 weeks ago and, due to rain, work, etc.. I have only had time for 200 miles. So far I LOVE THIS BIKE !!!! I haven't owned a motorcycle for over 25yrs and was somewhat concerned about getting back in the saddle. I did my research and decided on the GSX650F before I even went to a shop to look at bikes. I actualy had to look around a while to find one but, found a dealer close by that had one new still in the crate. He agreed to have it ready to view when I got there. I was immediately impressed with the looks of the bike.
Power is more than I will ever need as is the top speed.
The ride is stable and solid, handling is very good.
Ergonomics are good and the rider position is very comfortable.
The dash console is well laid out but, I do wish the display would show the clock and the ODO at the same time.
My only complaint about this bike is the seat is uncomfortable after about 50 miles. Perhaps this is a byproduct of a skinny 50 yr old butt !!!!!
Overall, I am very pleased with the bike and would certainly rercomend it to anyone looking for a "do all" machine. As far as it being a begginers bike, I wouldn't recomend it to a beginning biker as I feel it is way more bike than one should start out on. It's combination of sport bike handling, a very healthy powerband, and the ability to use it as a touring bike, make the GSX650F "Just what the Doctor ordered"for those wanting a good blend of performance and comfort. I can't wait to get the break in completed so I can really see what she's capable of doing. Oh, I almost forgot I did get the faster Blue and White !!!!!

You have a hell of a bike there and you will enjoy it. You will be surprised when you can finally crack the throttle. It has quite a bit of ass to it. It's no rocket ship, but it will never leave you wanting either. You picked the right color too.

Well hit the 600 mile mark today ! With the weather and work I didn't think I'd ever get the break in finished. I am still solidly sold on this bike. As I gain confidence (been out of riding for 25 yrs) and get used to the bike I have found it corners like a dream and is everything anyone could ever ask for in an "All around bike". I finally got to open her up to 9000 and DAMN SHE HAULS ASS !!!! Granted it isn't a Gixxer, but this bike has all the power and speed I will ever need. Going through the gears and shifting at 9000 I was over 110 mph before I realized it. I wonder just how much difference it makes going all the way to redline? Once again, what a fine ride we have !
