Has anyone seen the service manual available on cd yet?
I got my SV650s manual on cd with parts listings for $10 bucks on Ebay
It was great because you could print just the page or section you needed and if you spilled your Beer Uh ! I mean Tea on it you could just print another.Plus if you wanted a specific part you could circle it scan or fax the page to the dealer. It saved a lot of screw ups

I've never come across that but I would absolutely love it too. Sometimes I want to look something up without going out to the garage where I keep my manuals, so that would be quite handy indeed.

I believe this has come up in another thread (searchably) where the idea of scanning was bandied about to little avail.

Farley, why did you correct yourself when you said beer? Hell, most of us DIY guys figure how many beers a job will take, instead of the time like mechanics do. Hmmm, valve check, that's an 8 beer job. Just wait until the next day for the test ride;)

MMMMMMM, Kokanee

Wish they'd start exporting that stuff(and not the watered down garbage they try to pass off to us Yanks as Canadian beer!)

+1 for truth. I roomed in college with a Quebecois anglophone and he would routinely bring various flavours of the real stuff across the border, to our delight. Funniest part to me was that buying "Molson Export" in Canada was certainly not what they actually exported (to clueless Yanks). Granted, still better than Coors Light (lol), but once you've had the goodness, you know the difference.

Yay, beer threadjack!

(And I'm sure from my pic you can't tell I'm a beer drinker so I will come clean and admit it! lol)

Hmm, dunno about wrenching under the influence, as highlighted by my sock story http://www.gsx650f.biz/add-a-sock-to-your-tool-kit-t940.html?highlight=sock
