Hey all, Just thought I'd post up some pics from my recent trip down to the Moto GP at Phillip Island lst week... Probably not overly interesting, and I'm not the best photographer, but thought I'd chuck them up anyway... As well as video I made on the ride me throgh the Black Spur whlst testing ou my little $15.00 key chain camera... Enjoy :D

My mates Dad's Bonneville at Wangarratta

My Old Mans Duc... Suprisingly no electrical issues with the cold weather 0_o

My bike at Healsville after riding the Spur :D Again, not all its hyped up to be IMO (too short and too much traffic), but a top ride none the less! Had a great time dragging pegs through there...

Just a few Pics of the Bikes at the caravan Park...

Went for a spin up to the knobby's... Fucking Seagull's EVERYWHERE!

Saturday Qualifying... Found Siberia to be the best view of the track... Stoner was too fat for me to get a good picture of :(

Syberia may have been the best view, but come raceday, it was all but uninhabitable for me! I just prowled around like this all day... Far too cold for Dash...

And just some more random pics :D

My 2 mates ahead of me on his Hyosung GT650R (btw, the GSX left that thing for dead in a straight line on the way home lol. And i mean destroyed it!) and another on his SV1000S (that one, i didnt go so well against lol). My old man and my mates old man were some km's behind us by the time we left the 1st 3 corners of this video lol... Couldnt really hook in too much as there were too many bikes and cars around... Good fun anyway :D

I do remember seeing those bikes stashed around the corner of the servo as I shot through the set of lights to meet up with the Ducati up the road. Saw a couple of heads swing around when I went through & I'm guessing one of them was you Dashy????. The Black Spur is pretty much avoided on weekends or when there is a lot of traffic. Mid week rides at the right time of day & it's great. As I said in another post try Reefton Spur next time your down if you want longer, twistier, tighter corners with even more blind lefts. (but it is fun !!!) Did you end up doing Gembrook/Launching Place Rd on the way back?

Al.

Yeah mate, that would of been me. I lose myshit everytime i see another F on the road... I'm the only one around here that rides one is all... You and the Duc were actually parked up the road from the cafe we were actually eating at at one point and i was walking up to go and see if you (or whoever the mystery gsxf rider was) was on the forums, but you rode off... Meh, we'll catch up when we can... As for the Launching Place road, I was keen, but we chose just to keep going. The old men weren't fairing too well at all by Monday morning , and we still had about 500 odd k's till home (poor old Mick on the Bonneville just about kicked his bike over trying to get on it at Wangarrata because he was so stiff in the legs), so we're going to hit it up when we do our ride down there in February al going well. Just us young blokes, so we can happily do the 800+ km's in the one day... And at a decent pace too 8) I had a look at the Reefton on the map, and it looks like what i want. A bit more technical, tight and longer!
