Can you believe it. After nearly 1 month and countless phone calls from both myself and Suzuki to my insurance company, my poor 'F' was finaly authorised for repair this morning.
My insurance company staff are the most useless bunch of incompitent drones I have ever dealt with. They gave Suzuki the wrong fax number, lost the quotes, did not know the name of their own staff member who assesed the bike, after it was assesed and the quotes picked up, rang me the next day to see if I had a chance to get a quote for repairs WTF?. They blamed Suzuki for not getting complete prices leaving blank figures on the quote and even told me; Quote "This is going to sound really bad coming from my end, but I don't know what is going on with your claims either".
Thankfully through all of this the staff at Suzuki have been there for me %110 all the way in dealing with the insurer.
If you need to make a claim through RACV talk to a 3 year old first, just to prepare yourself for the level of intelligence you'll get.

Yeah, dealing with insurance companies is almost always a pain in the ass. It's good to hear that your bike is finally on the mend though. I hope all goes well from this point.
