After a nice 320mile ride today (thats 514km), I can tell you that there is a big difference with the Sargent seat. My butt was tired from being on the bike for 7 hours today but not hurting like it did with the stock seat after a 100 miles. It was also nice to have the Givi bags for extra gear as it was cold when I left this morning and a lot warmer on the way home.

I agree with you on the extra comfort given by the Sargent. I have recently added a sheepskin on top of my Sargent and found it to also add a significant improvement in comfort. I just used an old sheepskin I had laying around and cut a chunk out of it for the seat (nothing fancy, no velcro elastic straps or anything). I was just doing it as an experiment but I think I'll keep it!

I'm doing my first 1 hour trip on the bike tomorrow... with my Sargent seat.. can't wait... see how that makes out.. I'm sure it'll be fine.. since I've done multiple 40 minute runs in a day..

I have done 850 miles in one day with the Sargent seat and felt like I could have done another 200 miles no problemo. The stock seat was good for about 100 miles then numb ass time.

Glad to hear the postive reviews, I haven't had a chance to put some serious mileage on the new seat. The weather here has been crappy as of late. I'm planning a trip in july out to the East coast- I'll put in some serious seat time then.

You sit slightly higher - even with the low version. The seat cost me $420 US including shipping. Sargent was having an Economic Stimulus sale.
Going for all day ride this weekend- will see how comfortable the seat really is.
