Been trying to get more of a rocket look and was wondering if anyone could show me a pic of their seat cowl or someone elses. Just want to be sure they are worth it.

Same as eospro, will take some pics and post them, once my bike is back from the paint shop, I'll have my cowl painted white, with the center blue as an extension of the blue stripe on my SuziF's tail. It will look great, so stay tuned, the pics will come!

You sound a little excited Dashy. I got mine from Power Bronze. They have 4 metal tabs (two on each side) that bend up under the seat to hold it in place.

I'm glad you guys like it but I think it's possibly the ugliest, most ill-fitting mod available for this motorcycle. I'm not talking about your install-skills either eospro - I was interested in the same mod months ago until this abomination disgusted me out of it... I like the idea but I would buy a second seat and have it re-made from the pan up if I decided I "needed" it.
I like the southern cross on top though.

I have always thought that this bike, has got an ugly seat... Especially the arse end of it... Anything to give it a bit of a "racier" sort of look makes me excited lol. Although, with my 2010 silver and blue, i'd have to see what colours are available first, and see if it suits the bike colour scheme...

Hey Dashy, the cowl from powerbronce comes in two types, black abs plastic and carbon finish, retails for about $160, so you can do as you please, I have my shop shooting it base white with a blue center, as mine 08 SuziF is white blue.

The blue on papa's helps it "disappear" a little bit better. But still a "no" from me I'm afraid - I just can't get past how the front edge doesn't line up on either of them...

Paint the side covers white also ,might help it. There is other pictures of papas bike and it looks better just CBF ,looking. It is one of the most plan cowls around ,you would think powerbronze would of put alittle effort into it.
