Have you noticed a slight improvement in throttle response & fuel mileage?
I recently installed a full K&N Typhoon intake system in my car & the results were simply amazing… I used to think K&N was all hype, this has proved me wrong.
Just curious if there are any noticeable improvements on the 650F.

Good question PF, I've been wondering the same myself... Is your car FI? Did it need any tuning for the new intake system?
My car is a '06 1.8 Civic... the only mods is the intake & Catback exhaust, no tune & it works great. Some people insist a tune is absolutely necessary, I don't buy it. K&N doesn't recommend it, plus, it will void your factory warranty.
Thanks... I searched K&N but couldn't find anything. I can't see how a re-map would be required to get any small benefit the K&N filter might offer. As far as the K&N letting small partials in & damaging your engine... I doubt it. K&N is a reputable company... filters is all they do, & they test them endlessly.

Put one on my 08 last Sept, was a struggle to get on, but it's good for a long time. Do need a very long screwdriver. I bought the bike used, and it had a PC already installed, so after the K&N filter install.(fyi ordered direct from K&N) took to dealer and they ran it on dyno, and showed me the results, service mgr stated fuel/air was pretty close to being on the numbers or did I want to spend $300 for remapping, thanked them for the 30min dyno run at $50. So who ever mapped the PC got it close. Just a little backrapping on cooler days.
