I think these would look cool on my black bike and add just a touch of red on the bars, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried them and how they hold up as far as does the color peel or chip off...

I'm sure they would be fine. Can't go wrong for the price really.
I put some Oxford blue carbon bar ends on my blue/white bike and really liked the look:

it usually takes about 2-3 weeks for me to get things from Hong Kong
