I just noticed that in recent days Suzuki have increased the RRP across their entire range in Australia. The 650F is now $10,290.

I know there is a worldwide financial crisis but is nothing sacred ?!?!?!?!

Everything is going up in price. Nine months ago, my helmet was $419 and now it's $480. When I was looking at my replacement bike, the salesman advised of the price rise. Good thing I payed for the bike yesterday

Especially the black ones, like mine, that are no longer available :D

Seriously though, the price in the U.S. for the 2009 model just went up also, from a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $7299 to $7899. That's a $900 MSRP increase from when I bought my 2008 in September.

Looking at XE.com I see the Yen has changed dramatically against the Australian dollar in the past year. I guess a price shift is no surprise.

You are right, the msrp really shot up here in usa! So glad now I got mine in Oct, was thinkign about waiting for the 09s. Plus I managed to get a rare black one. Not that I have anything against seeing those bright blue and soon orange colors in my rear view mirrors.
