Yes the formulation is probably helping. I took a few short trips recently and managed 60mpg once and nearly so on another but I have the 17t sprocket and the riding was mostly 50-55ish without stopping too much or twisting the throttle up which I normally like to do.

My ave is probably around 50-53mpg for mixed hwy/city riding when I do the occasional run-up and not travelling some distance.
I could probably eke 65mpg but it would be a boring ride. But would keep this bike just for the mpg potential as its waay more fun than a 500 twin or big scooter.
