Just wondering if anybody has purchased or used any of the Axio Hard-Shell Luggage?

http://www.newenoughhp.com/luggage/all_types/axio/

I am strongly considering purchasing the tail bag and tank bag (in matte black) for my bike. I much prefer the look of the hard shell as opposed to the usual look of soft luggage. I'm not prepared to fit full-on hard luggage and racks to the bike as I don't like the look at all and I only want the luggage for the occasional long weekends and touring.

If anyone has any thoughts they can share on the Axio bags I'd appreciate it. Particularly interested in whether you find that there is enough space to make the bags practical for touring.

Thanks

AED

I've got the tail bag, that I keep on the bike all the time, and some Givi saddlebags that I only put on when I need them. The Axio tail bag is great, in that you don't know it's there when riding, and it looks good. It doesn't hold a whole pile of stuff, but it's better than nothing. I find that you need some type of storage on the bike all the time, even just for smaller crap. The tail bags fits the bill for me.

Does the Axio Tailbag fit a laptop? My Toughbook measures about 11.5x11.5 inches if that helps.

Sorry Kath, not a chance for a laptop fitting. It's about the same size as the raised, passenger portion of your seat. Here's a link with the size and some pics.

I hope it works...I am a techno retard.
