According to Bagster.com they don't produce a cover in "Met Triton Blue" as per my warranty booklet sticker. The only blue for the 2009 model year listed is Gitane Blue. Anyone know how close the colour is?

From what I could google, I'd say, it comes close to the color the French Cigarette Brand Gitane's came out, kind of a lighter blue.

Baglux (UK distributor of Bagster) have kindly sent me a colour sample of the Gitane blue. It's a two inch square piece of harness material which I offered up to the tank today as we actually had a bit of sun showing for a change. The match is pretty good so it's on the list I sent off to Santa. Fingers crossed, as Ive been very good this year...

I was indeed good and my tank harness was the star pressie this year. The fit is not great right now but the instructions do say leave it for two weeks to "settle" on to the tank, especially in cold weather. Hmmm... Not so sure vinyl needs that long to settle, even though it is chilly in this part of the world at this time of year. It's got better over the last week so I'll give it the full fortnight before deciding if I return it for a replacement, but at first I could get my hand right under the cover through the fuel filler hole on Christmas day when I first put it on.
On the plus side the colour is pretty much spot on!
