I bought my new GSX650F two weeks ago and ordered the Bandit 1250 Gel Seat. It came yesterday and I installed it. I do have a question for those who have chosen this seat. The new Gel Seat instructions say to install the bumpers from the old seat on to the front piece of the new seat. The bumpers do not interchange as they are different in every way. Do I need to order the bumpers from Suzuki or can the seat be used without the bumpers? Any advice is appreciated.

You'll need to get the bumpers form suzuki or perhaps a wreckers yard (you might call it a breakers yard) as the GSX650F seat is different to the 1250 bandit seat

I have the (non gel. two piece) bandit 1250 seat on my bike, it is as far as i know a standard seat, it has the adjustable rubbers, under for height adjustment.

i have the same bandit 1250 gel seat on my gsx650f. It finally arrived from the states after being at customs for a month. Then i found out i needed the four bumbers en a plastic underplate (and some more screws and bits which i got at my local hardware store). It was another 100 euro's worth of parts!! But i must say it looks better and i have more comfort because the seat feels a bit wider.

These are the partnumbers you need:

1 x 45410-38G03-291 (plastic underplate)
4 X 45149-38G00 (the 4 rubber bumbers)
