Its the same battery thats ´dying´ or a brand new one as well. If its a new one I suggest you take a look at the charge system of the bike for a malfunction.

Yes I have done the recall. Its the old battery that is dying. I haven't taken the bike in 3 days. It didn't start so I removed and connected to the battery to the battery tender. The battery tender showed green light after 10 minutes but I left it for 24 hours. The bike started once when I re-connected the battery and it didn't when I tried again immediately. When I shake the battery little bit, the console lights came on but the bike won't start. I hope its just the battery.

The simplest answer for you is to take it to an auto parts store that has a battery tester. They can test your battery under different load conditions. Otherwise check the voltages yourself, static just sitting there, with the ignition on and while running. The manual has different minimums to check for to see if the charging system is ok. Based on what you described it is probably the batter, and it is simple enough to take it to an auto parts store.

Thanks all for your replies. Its a 2008 bike probably the battery is as old as bike, approx 3 years. I put my battery on charge with a battery tender for straight 3 days but still no luck. I took the battery to an auto store, they said battery seems good. This is what exactly happening. After I connect the battery, the console lights come on. When I try to start, minor spark comes at the negative terminal of the battery with a clicking sound and everything goes off until I remove and reconnect the battery. I ordered a new battery online, should be here in 3-4 days. Does anyone think its something other than battery?

I wonder if the auto parts store really did a load test on the battery. Sometimes that takes an hour or longer. They probably just checked the static voltage. The other think I always check is whether the connections to the battery are tight, and as happened to me once, check the ground connection at the other end. Also look for any cracks fraying in the insulation as I also had that with corrosion in my main battery leads. But, as it seems the battery was the culprit.

I think the auto store just checked the static voltage and even the Battery tender checks only for static voltage. That's why it was keep showing green light. I guess the battery didn't have enough cranking power or something. Anyway I 'm glad to be back on road. I bought X2-9 X2 Power battery from Batteries Plus (cost $79.99). According to them, its top of the line but I'm not sure. It started with no initial charging.
