I put some Avon's on a few weeks ago and the difference in handling was night and day. I am very pleased with them and allegedly they give great mileage also.

Also got the Pilot Road 2 on the bike. Replaced the stock tyres at 8400km. They are absolutely RUBBISH. Rear tyre squared off within the first 5000km. Front tyre had major cupping. And in the rain it was like playing Russian Roulette. I can honestly say that I've been faster on the PR2 tyres in the rain through corners then with the stock tyres on warm/dry roads.

Michelin Pilot Road 2. All my friends here in Brazil like these tires... you'll have no regrets.
The bridgestones suzuki put on the bike are a pos. I WILL NEVER BUY THEM AGAIN. However the pr2 tires are by far the best. Iv put double the miles on already and WOW. They heat up nice and very fast. I have no complaints about these tires im just gonna keep buying them over and over, so worth the price.

LOL "best tire" threads are as bad as "best oil" threads. For me, the best all-around tire I've found yet is the Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart sport touring tire. I have them on both my bikes and they are fantastic, showing best mileage ever, great handling, and they stick like turds on carpet! I also like the Michelins and Pirellis a lot. There are lots of great tires around these days.
the best tire is continental road attack tire it is a very grippy tire so if you ever feel the need to give it a little extra lean you can feel safe doing it, i have them on my bike and handling is AMAZING

personally i've had them on mine and they didnt give very good feedback, not much lean, and took a while to heat up. then i tried the metzeler sportec M3's and they were perfect, way better performing under extreme lean conditions and mileage! the next ones ill be trying are the michellin pilot power 2ct's since they have two compounds (harder in the middle, softer on the edges). BUT if youre looking for nothing but sticky and lean then michellin just recently came out with a high performing tire called the pilot power pure. supposedly they handle better than the 2ct's but dont last as long. they are softer compound, have "great wet condition handling", and warm up faster. but for me i would rather just stick with the 2ct. and

That's strange because i have the exact opposite opinion of them. I can now easily grind the pegs and they heat up really quick. Maybe it's a new compound or something but i love them. Will definitely buy them again.
I've been using the Bridgestones and they work fine.
Picked up another nail (actually, it was a screw) the other day. It seems that all nails/screws find their way right into the dead center of the tire. Sheesh... there goes another $150.
