I just bought GSX650f a new rider at the most. I checked out a sticky on adjusting shift pedal. I adjusted as instructed but still cant get it high enough to get toe under with out a struggle. Question is can I take the shifter off the spline shaft and move it or will that effect anything.

I use Blackstone S3 working shoes with steel toe+rubber nose. So those are pretty big. Still I had enough room to get under the shifter with ease. Do you have a big shoe size?
