Allowed a buddy of mine to take the bike out for a spin... and of course he dropped it backing down my driveway. Thankfully only the right turn signal and fairing were damaged. My question is where can I find replacement parts at the lowest price. The cheapest I have found for the turn signal is 40 dollars and around 240 for the fairing (oem replacement parts). New to the biking world and if anyone has any suggestions on how I should go about fixing the damage I am open to suggestions i.e. (aftermarket fairings or turn signals.

FYI The light housings and the rubber mounting posts from a SV650 are the same as well you just need to swap the wiring around it super easy I just had to do it myself..I feel for yeah!

Hmmmm.... hope your buddy has deep pockets. That is the only way I let a friend get on my bike. Basically as soon as your butt hits the seat you are responsible for fixing any damage you cause.

I agree, i rarely let anyone near my bike. And the ones i do know that if they break it they bought it, or fix it!

Yah it was a bad decision on my part but we live and we learn. Thankfully his pockets will be taking the hit, and thank you to all for the replies.

So if I were to buy these turn signals,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FLUSH-MO ... 2823wt_758
I would be able to use the stock wiring and they would fill the opening correctly? Sorry for all of the questions just looking to do it right the first time and be done

Why bother fixing a fairing? Take 'em both off and ride the bike naked (without the fairings). It would look pretty much like the Bandit in the United Kingdom.
