How's it going Snout. Had to replace the soft bags with larger hardbags for more storage and also they can be locked. Besides looking better and stupidly more expensive (for plastic boxes!) they were pretty easy to install. I used SW Motech quick lock sidecarriers. The rear turn signals needed to be relocated and mounted on a bracket provided with the carriers and I had to fish the turnsignal wires through the bottom of rear taillight since they were too short to go through the original openings. From another thread, I found out that a passenger can hold on the handles if they wish and may feel more secure.

Looks good! I am not trying to be a perfectionist but the top case looks as it is a tad off center to the left. If I am wrong sorry. I am a picky Bastard!

Thanks for the replies! The bags are great for commuting back and forth from work and seem to hold a decent amount of gear. You do have to be careful and not exceed their weight capacity ( only fill bags with lightweight type gear like small tools, clothing, etc). Also, have to be extra careful when parking bike in tight spots so not to scratch the bags or hit anything.
