I rode for an hour to an hour and a half yesterday and my muscles in my butt and legs are feeling it. Of course stalling from that takeoff at the stop sign and having to pick her up might have had someting to do with it! I used the technique a guy posted on Youtube and it worked GREAT and it was like the bike wasn't even there. So here is the link in case anyone is interested, especially the new riders like me.

If you've ever got to pick the bike up that's the way to do it.
As for being sore you're just using muscles that you don't normaly use, so they are getting tired a bit quicker. It all goes away soon enough. My legs used to get sore after a good ride but now I don't feel a thing. Go figure. I've actualy lost weight and put on more lean muscle from doing absolutely nothing different other than riding.

I took mine on a 5 hour one way trip last week. Have to fuel up at about the 3 hour mark anyway so that is a good time to stretch your back, legs etc and get a snack. The butt gets a little numb but not too much of a big deal. I like to move my feet around on the pegs from time to time so they keep the blood flowing. Not a bad bike for long distance at all really.
