Guys,
I was looking in Ebay for a braided steel clutch line for my 2008 650F. Can't find one. I can find the brake lines, but not the clutch.
I did, however, find a braided steel clutch line for the Bandit 1200. Will it fit our bike? I seem to recall that the Bandit 1200 and the GSX-650F share some parts.
Thanks in advance.

Spiegler are the only ones who I've found actually list a stainless braided clutch line for our bike. Trying to find a supplier for Spiegler lines has been a bit more trouble than it's worth. I've read that people with the Bandit 1250S have Galfer braided lines all around, but I haven't found clutch lines for that bike either, so maybe they're only available as a custom.
I recently ordered up and received a set of HEL brake lines, EBC pads, and titanium pad pins, and am waiting for a time when I don't want to ride to put them on.
I'll wait a while before bothering with the clutch line. Maybe when I go to replace the chain and sprockets I'll check into it again.

I have to ask: Why?
Better feel? I figure as long as I've gotta replace it at a certain interval anyway, I may as well get a braided stainless line for less money than the Suzuki part.
edit: I also don't like the way the solid section of tubing on the OEM line gets moved around when it's time to swap the front sprocket.

Yes thats just what the bike needs. Take the rest of slack out of the clutch so its pure off/on..... idunno guys. I'll just take whatever feel i can get. Lines flexing or not.

Don't mistake the Bandit 1200 for the Bandit 1250. They are both very different bikes. It's the 1250 that shares parts with the 650F.
I recently (i.e. within the last 3 years) emailed one of the large braided brake line makers (I think it was HEL) asking about custom lengths because I have handle bar risers. They replied saying you can just email them the lengths you want and they will make them, and they dont cost much (if anything) more than buying a standard length.

Thanks to yours truely Goodridge UK has now put the braided clutch line in stock after I send my OEM one to them. I got mine for free but it will cost you guys £26.50. . You'll probably also get the wrong fittings so just use the ones on the bike.
Also, to solve the argument about performance it did make a slight difference but not enough to care about.
