We bump start the race bikes all the time.
1. Put bike in second gear......
2. A big push or slight down hill
3. This is really important.......MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT TURNED ON.........
4. Get it rolling and dump the clutch......It'll fire right off.........

We do it all time at the track.......

I have jumped started mine. Sat on it, pulled clutch, turned key on, got a push and let out on the clutch. Bam, fired up.

If there is enough charge left in the battery to wake the ECU the bike shold fire up.

if you've got a dead flat battery tho, no chance.
