One of your fellow forum members has recommended that i notify you all with a new topic post that we manufacture and sell these undertrays.

Here is the link to the undertray available on Ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1250-650-BAND ... 53e894fb12

We also manufacture exhausts - and because we actually manufacture them, we say "YOU CAN SPEC YOUR EXHAUST JUST THE WAY YOU WANT TO!"
and here is a link to our own webstore where you can do just that!

http://www.aa16.co.uk/store/cgi-bin/cp- ... OME:Suzuki

Hopefully you will be hearing positive comments from the member who has just bought one of these undertrays on ebay - he has specified a white finish... we will be dispatching it to him next week

We hope that the moderator will not kick us off for promoting ourselves this way.... it really is the first time i've attempted to use any forum!!! lol

cheers Sonia :D

It doesn't look very straight, does it?
I will definitely need to see pics of it fitted and in daylight, please...
So who is this mystery forum member, anyway?

The mystery person was me who advised Sonia to post on this forum. I only signed up today but I did used to consult the forum for advice. I just never had anything useful to add before so I didn't bother signing up.

The undertray I got from these guys is of a great quality. I've had it fitted for some time now and no cracks, etc have appeared. They were very helpful and didn't appear to be the type of people who just wanted to grab my money.

I don't have any pictures of the fitting stages but I can tell you some very extensive cutting of the original undertray does need to happen with an angle grinder. Also you will need long bolts and nuts instead of using the clips on there as they will not hold. Be careful that you do not cut the bit of plastic on the original undertray that holds the ECU unit in place.

From the quick look that I just had, the undertail looks very similar to the Ermax unit that I have.

Just without the hefty price tag!

Highly recommended... Also, they will do it in any colour you want provided they have it in stock. They don't usually sell the white ones for our bikes but I sent them a link of the powerbronze one that I was looking at in white and they offered to just make it for me in white. I didn't even have to ask!

I SMELL CRAP.

You both have next to no posts. at all. I want real data, and fitment, and a step-by-step install.

-edit-
I don't know if I'd call it crap yet, that may be an overstatement. But I'm certainly not convinced. If it fits better than the previous companys, then it's a steal though. I just don't know if I like the gaps between taillight and undertray.

It doesn't look to fit as snugly as the Ermax unit. I have the Ermax item and I can say that the quality is fantastic and it fits beautifully. Until I was able to see from numerous sources that this item was of the same or similar quality I wouldpersonally to spend the bit extra and get a unit from a brand that has a pretty good reputation.

I don't have a step by step install. Theres no reason why I would lie about buying an undertray and fitting it. Also if they advertised an undertray for this bike and sent you out a different one they would just have to refund you loosing money from shipping. Use your common sense.

The thing is that Ermax one costs almost twice the price in white in the UK. So its not the case if it being 'a bit more'.

I can tell you its not easy to fit. Its not just a slip on but I didn't expect it to be as its not made to fit the GSX650F like a glove. Having said that its probably just as easy to fit as the Powerbronze ones as they market their undertray both for the bandit and GSX650F.

Here's the hangup, daniel. tailsection to tailsection, there is absolutely zero difference between the intended bike (bandit 650/1250), and the GSX650F. the brakes, most all engine components that aren't critical rotating assembly/drivetrain/valvetrain are all completely identical. front fenders are alike, fork geometry, setup, and assessories in the frontend are all basically alike. and it's WAY more similar as you go back to the subframe. they are absolutely one and the same from the battery back. with exception to ECU's, they're positively identical. same taillight, same undertail, same rear fender, same plastic cowling, same seat hangers! I have a bandit 1250 seat on my 650F. I did absolutely nothing for fitment. at all. because it's basically the same bike with a few key exceptions. theres a lil frame extended put on the 1250 to help cradle the engine better, the engine is very slightly taller, very slightly wider, and that's pretty much it. the front forks are a little stiffer, possibly. perhaps not. the rear swingarm is a little wider, as is the rear wheel to incorperate a 180 width rear tire. AND THATS IT!

So fitment should be a completely zero issue, without reguard to installation/cutting error of the rear fender/shovel/mud-rain guard.

Any issue there is either inconsistancy at the production level, or it's just plain a bad fit.

Well as you can see it looks fine on my bike :). If you want to save money then the link is there to purchase. However, if you are outside the UK I don't know how shipping costs will add to the overall cost.

Um... maybe a stupid question, but - if the factory tray needs grinding and chopping to fit this, why am I paying 120 pounds plus shipping for?
Might as well just chop off 20cm of plastic at the rear, move the number plate higher and Bob's your uncle...
