I saw that same dark, dingy and downright nasty color on my GSX650F as well. My bike had about 1,600 miles when I decided to spend $6 and buy a Speedbleeder and flush the fluid out myself.
It takes about 3 minutes to install the bleeder, another 5 to pour new fluid in while pumping out the old.
The stealership is probably going to charge you about 5-10 times more than that.
Somewhere around here, I posted pics on how simple this was to do.

Maybe, I'm wrong, but the clutch oil, isn't that the same oil you get changed according to the MOM mileage guide?
Yesterday, I took a look at my oil level. I completed a 900 mile ride a week ago, and have added another 100 or so miles on top of that, so I was curious to see whether the bike might need some oil. Tilted the bike as straight up as I could while kneeling down to look at the oil window. Dang, I could not see any oil. I started cussing. No oil to be seen!!! By chance I leaned the bike a little more back toward the left and suddenly I see a bubble. Stunning! The oil was so clear, a light amber color, I had been looking at it the whole time thinking it wasn't there. I made the bike more level, and the oil level is perfect, and the oil is crystal clear (an amber clear color, can see right through it).
again...is this normal for the fluid to change colour this fast..ya know..i mean..am i burnin the shit out of the clutch....or is it just from a lot of usage??...i do commute to the city for work..and alot of traffic on the way home...well i dunno..i am lookin into the speedbleeder neway.

Just about everybody has indicated that their clutch fluid has changed color. I'm going to assume that it's normal. It could simply be that the slave cylinder deposits more particulates into the fluid than the brakes do (same fluid used for both). The fluid doesn't come anywhere near contacting the clutch itself, so even if you did "burn the shit" out of it, that wouldn't cause it to change color. BTW Olequa, were talking about the clutch fluid in the reservoir, not the engine oil.

ya floridacat..i'm gonna have to look around at you're post to see how to do that....so are you like changing every 1000miles or so??
I only changed it once so far, but I plan on changing the clutch and brake fluid at the same time (~6 months). It is so easy and cheap with the Speedbleeders installed, plus I noticed a huge difference in shifting and braking. I am talking about $7 in fluids to change both every 6 months....that's cheap insurance considering I live in a high humidity region.

Just did the fluid change and man was it grubby. For only 3,000 miles i can't believe how dirty it was . Threw some new Galfer Dot 4 fluid in and nice and smooth once again . thanks for the how to folks .
