I also have NO DOUBT whatsoever that you used the words "my good man" in conversation; I just wish I was there to hear it...

:D Nite, yep I used it, my brother cracked up for laughing, as he was standing beside me. When I use that term, good man/good woman, that is my VERY last politeness, before I'll usually ask for the head of the one receiving this term , than my Agent Orange comes up and give me the itch, which I need to scratch *ROFL.

I had actually checked on the fitting for those sliders, now I'm going to get in touch with the Vendor to see, what went south, because, at least the set they send me, there is just one f'n way in which I could install it. I'll let you know how that turned out.

Would've been perfect if you said "Good day, sir", then walked to the door, turned around and said "I SAID GOOD DAY!" before walking out.
Good on you for chasing this down too - you might just save someone else a bunch of trouble.

RPK,
I have the TREX sliders but I don't see where the LH bracket is impacting the fan. I'll look again, but even today I heard the fan come on no problem...If you have pictures please post them.

Looked at mine closely last night. The LH bracket I have has about 1/8" to 1/4" clearance to the fan shroud (didn't realize the shroud is attached and turns with the fan). My bracket has the corner cut off of it to provide the clearance, but it is closer than I thought. So, if you happen to drop it on the left side it might bend/move the bracket enough to interfere. I will see if there is a way to move the radiator slightly over to the right. There should be some slop in the mounting holes to do this, or a few minutes with a file may do it.

TomCat, will get you the pics. After all I'm growing concerned that I had a blond moment *LOL, and installed that bracket wrong. To be continued......

As you said before, there was only one way to mount the LH bracket. I'm thinking more that either your frame was a little warped, or the mounting of the radiator was. Let us know what T-Rex says...

RPK -- Any follow-up concerning the T-Rex sliders and the fan? I'm holding off buying until I can be sure the sliders are not the cause of fan problems, in general. Thanks.
