Hello to all, as I am new to this forum. I need advice. I want to buy a new front cowling for my 2009 GSX650F K9, the plastic that fits around the windshield. My bike is the blue and white model. The cowling is all blue. Suzuki OEM parts lists two blue cowlings for the GSX650, one says "for CWH," and the other "for GLR". Anybody know which cowling would match my bike?

That depends on the production year.
The 2008 model (production) is darker blue




If you don't know which build year your bike is, just look at the fueltank
Model 2008 has the red/white striping from the fairing on the tank
The 2009 model is all (light) blue

Many thanks. I went to the Colorite site and finally figured it out. Mine is the K9 Glr cowling.

I have to relate what happened. I have been riding for 40 years, and at present own a 02' Honda 1800VTX. I found a brand new 2009 Suzuki GSX650F with zero miles so I went to pick it up in my Ford 150. The fellows at the shop cinched it down real good with ratchet straps and I brought it home. When I released one of the ratchet straps on the left side of the bike, the shocks decompressed and the bike jumped up and to the right against the pickup bed and I had busted the plastic cowl right beneath the mirror.

Zero miles, not yet rode, and already damaged. Moe, Larry and Curly, plus me, the forth Stooge, couldn't have done it better!

$378.15 with one flick of the finger on a rachet strap!
