Well, an iphone does almost everything a laptop does and makes a great source for music while riding as well.
However, being a sys admin and doing a lot of blogging shit etc I do take a netbook on longer trips. It was cheap and has held up very well to many long trips. I wouldn't recommend it for 'normal' folk though. Hell, getting away from that type of thing is what riding is all about.

I don't know about that. I think the chick magnet in my bike is busted. All it attracts are fat bald dudes like me that want to talk about bikes. Gotta get that fixed.
