Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Delkevic exhausts on the GSXF. The price seems right for them compared to many others & they seem to get good reviews but I have not seen any reports of them on our bikes. They can be done for them according to the supplier & their is a listing for the GSF 1250/650.

Any info would be great.

Al.

Sorry Al, had not heard of them until now. Eospro and I run Scorpions on our bikes.

I run with a Two Brothers slip-on and I love it. It might be a little loud for some, but it gets the attention of other drivers that wouldn't normally know I am there. I have not heard of Delkevic either.

I think the Delkevic brand is fairly new. I have seen a few Hayabusa items for sale of that brand on Ebay (brand new) but only of recent,
and have never heard or seen anything of them before.

Is there an Australian distributor for the Scorpions or o/s only?

Have to be one in Oz - I got mine through the local Suzi dealer, the muffler had a fault (pop rivet popped), I contacted the guys at the shop. They arranged for a new exhaust to be delivered to them and swapped the exhausts over when it had arrived (couple of days).

$800, the good thing was that the faulty pipe was replaced very quickly and I believe you don't need to repack Scorpions. :D

I got mine from the US AU$570, with world wide warranty, Papa, your right, no repacking as a ceramic baffle is used.

OK then, scrap the Delkevic idea. Just happened to wander in to a local bike shop & noticed they had an "as new" Staintune exhaust to suit a GSF1250. After checking some part numbers between the two models I now have a great exhaust for about half the price of new. Other than a few specks of road grime & colour on the underside it looks brand new.

Got to love right place, right time.

Al.
