Wow, that guy on the goldwing knows how to ride. Thought did cross my mind that my old dirt bike would be well suited for these turns. Guy from London, I recall a hwy between 401 and Hamilton or Burlington, Old Hyw 6, used to drive my 280Z on that and have a blast. Not sure if it still exists, or hasn't been straightened out. And like your pic, but I won't be waving to anyone ;-) I'm planning on going down next fall.

I got to ride the Dragon last June with some close friends. It was a Blast!! We camped out at the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge. Real good people there, and I highly recommend the place. But the Dragon will demand your complete attention as a rider. Especially if you don't have a lot of experience in the twisties. The Dragon is a dangerous mountain road, not a race track. Take it easy and you won't have any problems. If people want to pass you, you can pull over and take some pictures, or let them worry about it. The pace is not all that fast. For a long time, I never got out of 3rd gear, and for parts, I never got out of 2nd gear. Be careful of the speed traps too. People do die on that road, and the cops do write tickets. As the others have said, there are other great roads in the area. Highway 28 and the Cherohala Skyway are a lot of fun too!
