I've been looking into this product, and couldn't find anything that concludes it doesn't work or is snake oil, so I ordered some! Also ordered a set of tire irons and rim protectors.

Snake oil for mine.

The bikes tyres arn't balanced when riding slow and alot of time ,you in traffic riding on unbalanced tyres. :?
He even says in the comments the BMW guy ....as soon as you take off ,they work ..untill then they are just bouncing around in the tyre.
They're no good for track tyres ,the BMW guy says that ...as far as i'm guessing ,the inside of a race tyre would be the same as a street tyre...unless your a Rossi and they use some sort of super light weight tyre.
Seems alot of negatives over postives in my book.
Hey but what to I know ,just the way I see it. :?

When you are going slow, fine tire balance doesn't matter at all- you can't tell until your speed is up, anyway, and I can't imagine low speed imbalance hurting anything. Now, if you can hear the beads swishing around while creeping along, that might be a deal killer for me. I'll report back...
I have not examined the inside of full race tires, so I can't address what the Dynabeads guy says:
Quote:
Can I use Dyna Beads for motorcycle road racing?

No. The inner liner compound of motorcycle road racing tires is too soft to allow Dyna Beads to perform properly. (this does not apply to off-road motorcycle racing)

However, I do know race tires are a LOT different from DOT street tires, due to the extreme heat cycles they encounter.

I used them on my Piaggio BV 500 scooter. Yea, scooter. 100 mph scooter. 16" front wheel, 14" rear. I put a lot of high speed highway miles on that bike and I never had any problems. No shake, no shimmy. They worked as advertised. My next bike will have them too.

Edited to add: No abnormal tire wear either.

Dave

I think I would rather put in Ride-On in my tires which basically does the same thing and prevent your tires from running flat at the same time.

Ride-on looks good, but I suspect there is a mess to clean up when you change the tire.
