FWIK there is one pin that feeds to a map choice in the ECU (similar to A, B, C map on a GSXR). it is said that if you ground this pin it is on one particular map and if you leave it open it is on another.
perhaps this is what he is talking about.
to be honest i've not given it much thought or even tried it but maybe it could hold the answer

From what the guys at Suzuki tell me it's not an easy thing to get in Australia either. They are only supposed to sell you the same model ecu as what you already have got in your bike. Suzuki are under strict guidlines to keep their LAMS bikes as just that. They have even been threatened with the removal of the 650F from the approved bikes list. The Road Traffic Authoriteis have also got a full list of all the VIN numbers of the Suzuki LAMS bikes in Australia to cross check (that's how mine got screwed up. Vic Roads marked mine on the list and gave me learner approved reg on the bike).

its a very good information, could you put a image of the wire? please

i´ve the ecu limited and the ecu unlimited, but the stick of the limited ecu is very difficult to copy to the unlimited, so i think this form is better

could tell us if the experience is the same as the unlimit ecu?

thanks

By looking at this, would be a guess It's the black/white wire going to the SVTA?

I doubt this though, due to the fact that as soon as I plug in my unrestricted American ECU (from Ebay) the bike opens up to full power instantly......without the need to change any wires.

Tell me about it! I've had NO end of trouble copying sticks between ECUs...
Cut the blue wire - it's always the blue wire.
And be sure to post pics so that we can all avoid these problems ourselves - that'd be grand, thanks.
