Hi everyone
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here it goes.
I want to put on a after market muffler on my GSX650F and i have decided between two brands. Let me know your input on what you would select and why ? or if you have one of these two brands let me know your thoughts on the one you own. The price is part of the reason i am looking at these two brands/models. I also wanted to know will these mufflers effect gas mileage ?
Leo Vince SBK Evo II Alum Slip On w/Conical End Cap -$289
P.S. i don't want something that is ridiculously loud but i do want to make some noise. I am kind of leaning more towards the two brothers based on the look, reviews and its only about $30 more than the leo vince. I have also heard a couple of great videos on youtube that sounded great.
I put a "danmoto" exhaust on my 650 about a month ago and love it. about half the price of the ones you mentioned and I love it. I put a video on youtube if you are interetst. It is pretty loud, but the company sells silencers for about $5 or so. Here is a link:
I think you made up your mind, my advice, if you haven't done that already! Go to you tube and search for the brands you listed, there you'll get a good feel for what you like or not.
I did put on to my SuziF a Yoshimura TRC, it's not too loud, yet makes a decent noise, especially beyond 7K rev's , the increase of throttle response, the feel of the engine that all have been factors to go for Yoshi. Here's a pic of my SuziF, when I just had installed it.

Thanks to the both of you and for your feedback. I have not bought one yet but i am now leaning towards the Leo Vince its a little cheaper and sounds pretty good from what i hear on youtube. i think the Leo Vince comes with a silencer which is usually a $30 additional part like the two brothers. So that's already about a $60 savings just by going to the Leo Vince. Plus i need to get a rear stand and the extra money would cover that cost.
would have liked to have more than just two people respond to my exhaust request.

Leo Vince is pretty sedate for an aftermarket exhaust, with DB killer kept in place. I had one on my 650F, quality is just fine. Without the killer it makes a better sound though

I recommend highly you look up delkevic... or visit my youtube channel to hear what it sounds like... i may make a new movie soon to showcase baffles in with the gutted header. I'm truely suprized to find it sounds Exactly like a katana, only at a wonderful volume.

I'm loving my Yoshimura R-77 with the db killer installed. When cruising at steady throttle it's not loud at all, but under acceleration it makes plenty of noise for me, but not so loud I'm letting every leo within a mile radius know I'm around. They can be had for around $350 too, so they are in your price range.

Thanks again for all of your great pictures and the comments. I have decided to go with the two brothers aluminum. I figure its only about $25 more than the leo vince and I know it will sound so good. I will probably buy it here with in the week.
Thanks again for all the help and I will post pics when i get it in.

I'm with Bikehigh. THe real men run yoshi R77's without the DB killer. When my exhaust starts screaming, so do the ladies... It moistens them with the mere sound of my bike going over 5000rpm. Looks good, sounds excellent, lightweight, loud when i want it to be, quiet when i need it to be... Just a good exhaust...

I've waited 3 years to find a pipe I really like and found a few new ones that no one here has and it was a hard choise ,but its being shipped from London UK as we speak. You guys will have to wait for the pics and report. I've never seen one on a GSX650F no sound files on you tube ,so see how it goes.

@Dashy, Real men have traffic cops as best friends (as am I), so they can actually run their Yoshi's on the street *LOL. Here in WA, the troopers and sheriff's don't really joke with you. In Germany, where I was born, don't even think about it, they will impound your bike on 1st hear. No street legality and you're flat out dead. Don't we love the Yoshi's disclaimer!!!
