I'm gonna allow this, but only because there's not enough detail in the pics....

I want to see the underside, up at the tail section where you did your cuts.

lol

I also want to see where you've knocked the burrs off of those cuts you made, because lets face it, burrs are ugly. only then will it get my stamp. lol

Everyone should own a Dremel dude, that's good...
Use it wisely, and finish your work properly - don't be showing me no jaggedy-ass uneven cuts and telling me how good it looks ;)

Competition Werkes was a piece of piss... I used a haxaw, a stanley knife and half a carton of beer... Easy :D

Thanks for the pictures. I had been playing with the idea of removing mine but was debating on how I would like it. My decision has been clearly made, I
will likely outsource the work though

Yes, the Competition Werks didn't fit as perfect as I'd like. A little hacksawing and some patience required. And a few extra pieces here and there.

gsxstarr, I think yours turned out pretty clean. It should have came that way straight from the factory.

What a nice bike you've got!!! Congrats.

Q? in regards to your front turn signals, how was the install? and why didn't you use the module to slow the blink frequency?

Thank you! Still working on it. Ummm... No, the young lady wasn't my 'kit' :)

A: The install wasn't too difficult. Easier than the rear turn signals. It took a little more than 15 min. to do. Once i carefully unscrewed everything and disconnected the wires, I placed the new lights in place and made the connection. FYI> Test the connection and bulbs with a live feed to the battery before  inserting them into the fairings. Confirm the switch controls the left, right and hazard blinkers. Make sure the bike is off. If you have to get any parts for the wiring (from Radio Shack) get 2 or more in the event there is a short and something blows. (it did when I was doing the rear) For all of the mods, I always keep a box of misc nuts, bolts and washers handy in case. The options for what type of blinkers were largely grotesque, odd shapes, fake CF, or inset so far that facing traffic couldn't see which direction you intend on turning. As far as the frequency; you're the second person to ask about that. I really didn't know anything about that. (Blinkers came with no instructions) I also became too lazy and complacent to do anything about it. And, I grew to like them blinking faster. They get your attention a little more than the slow pulsating OEMs. In my warped and twisted mind, it makes me look like I'm going fast or am in a Rush even when I'm standing still. I purchased the lights from Cycle Gear.
