Yours must have come from the same stealership that had assembled mine. My front brake hose is the exact same way.

I have the SW Motech 25mm risers, straight up (not angled back). I then also added three layers of 3 mm aluminium under the riser (for a total rise of 34mm). Just to be different. Looks crap but feels comfy.

Adventure Motorsports is in Monroe, WA. As I understand it, they have the distributor, based in Renton, assemble the bikes for them. Perhaps Renton Motorcycle Company does the same or even is conceivably the distributor and that would explain both bikes having the same mistake in assembly.

True, but in my book, an obvious error that the assembler should have caught.

I've got the same ones! Made a big improvement in comfort for longer rides! Just ordered a Sargeant seat also and will probably get a touring screen now that I sit up higher.

I've decided to kick everyone in the sack who has risers for not telling me how awesome they are. I mean people TOLD me but they didn't really TELL me if you know what I mean? They are an incredible improvement. So if we run into each other out on the street and I see you have risers please assume the position.
