I just wanted to share with you my impressions of the Givi screen I have. Originally when I got my bike I got the MRA Touring screen but found it to low for all day comfort. I considered the Earmax but it looked to tall. I finally stumbled onto the Givi screen on their website. Got with my friendly vendor and promptly ordered it ($107 US).
I am bout 5'10 with 30 in inseam. The wind blasts me full on the face shield but keeps my neck out of air. No wind-buffeting.... hope this helps to any you all out there doing distance...

Great touring bike look!

One of my surprises to the motorcycling scene are the widely varying reports for same mod, gear, etc..
For example, I'm same height as rudeman and have no significant negative about the stock screen. Longest ride so far is just 250 miles and that just once. Maybe more long rides will make screen bothersome.

With the new taller screen, are you still looking over top of it or now having to look through it?

When first riding the bike, I found that driving into the wind was a real pain. 8,000 km later, and I never notice it. Part of it has to do with the vents on my jacket which are on top of the shoulders, and open up like snorkels (or sails) , well I don't use them any more, and realize that was a contributing factor to catching the wind. I'm getting ready for some longer trips next summer, and don't really plan to upgrade the windscreen.

sorry been absent from the site for a week. Just to let you know "totally" looking over the screen. I would say that its about 4 to 6 inches below line of sight.
