These are a few of my pics from the ride day down the Great Ocean Road with the Australian Hayabusa Club.
Unfortunately my pic's just don't do the road any justice. The scenery down the GOR is something of an experience
and the road itself has some of the best twisty's any rider will ever come across. When there is no traffic it is a
workout in itself, but you still have to be careful as many fast bikes pass through at god only knows what speed.

I caught the ferry across in the morning and we all met up in Torquay before heading off down the GOR and having
lunch in Apollo Bay. I think it was about an 80km ride. Was not easy to keep up with the Busa's, so me and another
rider (chick on a mean SV650) took it easy and caught up later. The joke was made that I just wanted to stare at
her ass the whole way and take pics as she leaned into the bends. Who am I to argue. lol
I ended up going back up the GOR as it just had to be done again, with the others continuing on through some
of the other area's. All up an amazing day that was about 8.5hrs on the bike. Total trip worked out to about 450km.

As an Aussie from Alice Springs that now lives in Canada, where we still have snow everywhere, I think i will just go outside and shoot myself in the foot, nice job though.

The pictures are so professional, BB! I rode 350km last weekend and I didn't get any picture... :(

How much did you pay for your camera? Probably I'll grab one soon.

The shots on the Ferry were taken with my usual camera - Konica Minolta Dimage A2.

The onboard camera is a GoPro HD Motorsports. Cost me AUD$450. It can do full HD 1080p video or also works as a 5mp camera
taking a photo every 2 seconds. They are also waterproof to a depth of 30m (hopefuly wont need that bit on the bike  )
The memory card is a 32gb HCSD that cost $200.

It would be awesome if you did get an onboard cam in time for our ride, then we can run a camera on each bike and combine the images.

I use mine all the time, as you never know what life throws at you when on the road.

Once I use to dive here, a waterproof camera should be my best friend. Good to know! I'll certainly get one, plus jacket, kevlar jeans pants, helmet... :D

No not yet, have only used it in camera mode.
Will shoot one for you though and load it onto YouTube this weekend and give you the link.
