Hey, I have been on here for a while now reading some advice from the members, but I was just wondering why there are not that many performance parts for our bike like: headers, full exhuast systems, more air filters etc. So maybe you can help me ponder this?

Well, I think it is because this bike is not built for that "high performance" market. The 650F is a universal Japanese motorcycle, built to perform reasonably well in more than one dicipline (touring, commuting, sport riding). If tweaking the maximum performance out of your bike is a goal, it would be easier to start with a bike designed for high performance sport riding like the GSXR600.

The reason is economics. The GSX650F is not a performance bike (although it is no slouch). The cost to get the extra performance out of the 650F is fairly high (depending on how far you want to go). Even after all of the performance enhancements, you still won't have the ideal high performance bike (because of the weight, stock suspension,...). Not to mention, that the 650F's durability would likely be negatively affected by the changes, and harder riding.
If you don't have a GSX650F, but want significantly more performance than it can offer, buy a faster bike (Gixer, Busa,...). If you have a GSX650F, and want significantly more performance, trade it in for a faster bike.
I know in the "old" days performance enhancements were more common than today, but back then you didn't have the specialized speed demons like the SS bikes that you have today. Performance enhancements are still done today, but mostly to bikes that are used on the track.

Anybody know if the stainless steel header from the Bandit 1250S will interchange with our 650s? Won't make it go faster, but it WILL make it look faster!
So are a lot of that 650 bandit parts interchangeable with the gixxf? And I dont plan on Agressive riding style but a little more power wouldnt hurt either. I have thought about a gixxer but thats for later down the road. I have a gsx650f and I love it. I put a yosh pipe trc on it and that gave it alot of power. Im not looking for super sport performance but instead just more performance for my bike.

I don't know for sure (you would have to check at the dealership to be sure), but it probably does fit since the much of the engine casings are the same.
Note, the reason that Suzuki doesn't have "pretty" headers on the 650F is because it has a full fairing (and the headers are mostly out of view). I am pretty sure that new headers would be quite expensive (if you go this route, buy used headers from a wrecked bike to keep the price down).
I have read somewhere that the 650F headers are a different thickness than the 650 Bandit's were (and probably the 1250 Bandit as well). This apparently affects the engine mapping to a small degree (changing the headers to a different type may require an engine remapping).

Most of the parts from the 2007+ Bandit 650 are interchangeable (beware that there was a 2005/2006 Bandit 650 that was air/oil cooled, and was very different from the 2007+ Bandit 650, and the GSX650F). Some of the exceptions between the 2007+ Bandit 650, and the GSX650F are the handlebars, the electronic control unit for the injectors, the seat, the suspension, and the fairing.
If you want more power from the GSX650F, your choices are : - new pipe (you already have this) - new full exhaust (expensive) - less restrictive air filter (ie. K&N). Not much performance gain from this, and does negatively affect engine durability. - Power commander (smooths out the power, but doesn't increase it dramatically) - Engine remapping (the more intake, and exhaust modifications you make, the more remapping will help)
There are more radical ways of improving power (Turbocharger, high compression pistons, different camshafts,...), but these are not recommended because of the high cost, and reduction of durability.
