Seen this video and thought it was interesting with reguards to helmet life and if you drop it etc.

Yeah I droped mine yesterday .I never put it on the handle bars ,but I did yesterday and it feel .
I always just hang it on the rear peg ,its never fallen and if it did its only 1 foot.
But its getting old in age ,so its about time for a new one anyways

I used to hang mine off the bar end but now opt for sticking it over the mirror. It can never fall from there.

I dropped mine few months ago... I was using cotton gloves (yes, I'm stupid) and they slide from my hands. But nothing happened, compared with that Arai on the video.

.... I always put my helmet on the ground, or put it in the Givi 470e Topcase....
It will NEVER fall out of this box

Thanx for posting. Even though it's an old video I hadn't seen it before. I know my Scorpion is sized right, the Shoei I just got a couple of months back is slightly too big. Ahhh, clearance and no returns.
