I put new grips on my bike the other day and the bar end assembly came apart and now the 2 nuts and 2 inner rubber expanders are stuck on the non-throttle side of the handle bar in the bend I guess. Just wondering if someone knows how to get them out or had this happen to them. Tried a wire hanger and it must not be stiff enough to push them through. Can anyone help me? I fell like an idiot. Please be specific about what to use. Like I said I pushed them 3/4 of the way through just can't seem to push them hard enough or their stuck.

you can't put the bar end back in, and get it threaded a few threads, then pull it back out?

Get a garden hose and cut it long enough to push all the way threw the hollow bars.
Cut it long ways all the way along ,fold it over so its thin enought to fit in the hollow bars and wrap it in stick tape , that makes it strong enought but still be able to bend to the bars shape.
Take the other bar end off and push every thing that stuck in there out.

No, I have pushed them to far in the bar.

I've used compressed air to blast a nut out of the bars when I did a similar thing during the installation of my heated grips. Just cup your hand over tone end to catch the parts as they hopefully come flying out.

Drop 2 Mentos in the end of the bar closest the block.
Seal that end securely.
Now, pour Diet Coke in the other end and watch closely for the blockage to pop out.
Finally, post pics...
