Has anyone had any problems with there HID bulbs melting the headlamp assembly? I'm curios before i spend the money, I don't want to spend more money afterward. I'm thinking of going with a company from this site: http://www.motorcyclehidlights.com/suzu ... asts-p-209.
Any suggestions?
(I have not adjusted the lamps but I did upgrade to silverstar/ultras. Lots of small animals and deer here in Northern Minnesota. I want more width.)

I used them for a while. Only trouble I had was the ballast failed after a couple months. Seems the analog ballasts only have an issue with being quickly cycled off and on, as happens when we go to start our bike. Do yourself a favor and get a digital ballast.

I put HID in @ November 2008, and still use it.

HID produces less heat (35W and the normal Halogeen is 55W) , so it can't melt anything
