I received a Holeshot/Corbin seat today. Very nice quality. At first, it was difficult to get both the front and rear fully latched. However, upon closer examination, it seems that the Suzuki dealer installed the wrong size battery (too tall) which was the cause of the difficulty.

So far, the seat seems very comfortable. I'll post an update after I build some miles on it...

Mate i would take some pictures of the areas of concern and send them in an email to the company that sold your the seat and ask them what they can do for you. Even ring them the next day to discuss the problem would work. Just dont get irate as this could back fire on you.

Johnny -- Thanks for your comments. I spoke directly with Dale Walker at Holeshot. He was very helpful and the seat can be properly latched now. I'll give some more feedback after I've used the seat more, but it seems good so far...

No worries. I have been looking around for a new seat myself . I sat on a Sargent seat that was fitted to a 1250 bandit. Found it rather comfortable so i think i will be getting one of these. My younger brother had a corbin fitted to his bike before and i found it to hard for my liking but he loved.

I took a ride today (about 1.5 hours) with the new Holeshot/Corbin seat. Very comfortable. Under acceleration, you tend to be cradled by the seat, sitting "in the pocket" where the seat rises into the pillion, which is a good feeling (feels secure). The firm padding is a big plus for longer rides. It does tend to make you sit more forward than the stock seat, so if you are very tall, it may be a concern. I'm 5' 11" (1.8 m) and it seems fine. Overall, I think it's a good seat and will be a big plus for long rides and touring. I'm happy with my purchase.
