I paid $6487 OTD for a 2008 on Sept. 27, 2008.

Question, with there being such a premium for a 2009 vs a 2008, why pay more for a 2009? It's my understanding that there is no difference between model years.

Damn those prices, thought i've had a sweet deal (i do though) butt when compared to your prices ya'll wanna freak? i paid 6950 euros for a k8 (in october last year including tax and getting it ready) when converted to us dollars: roughly $9100,- including tax.

Mike C, damn dude $9100US, OTD?!?!?!?!?....i picked up my K8 for $6750.US OTD and they threw in a full set of leathers and an Icon helmet, are all of these prices financed, because i payed cash for mine, and i am thinking that might be the difference, i cant speak for other countries but here in the US, if you walk in with cash you can get the dealers to drop the prices alot further than if you walk in with a little cash and finance the rest.

Yes NorCalHunter it's true, long live our government and its taxes. Another example a very nice Mustang 07 second hand prices between 47,000 and 53,000 dollars us and a brand new Shelby mustang (i love American muscle).... 131,500 dollars us not kidding. It doesn't matter if you pay cash or you finance it, the dealer let me see the prices and i got the bottom price for my bike. over here you pay a lot of taxes, until a while a go it paid to import your car or bike but now even that doesn't work anymore.
