are you buying an 08 or 09? I bought mine in mid 08 and paid full retail for it. Many others have gotten great deals. What price did you get quoted?

I am looking at the Orange '09. I got him to agree to 8,000 out the door, but would really like to get them to drop to 7,500. Trying to hold strong. Man i wan to ride home on that bike!

I got mine for 7,000 OTD. The extras I added on pushed it up to about 8,000 (Lojack, gap and so on)

I bought an 09 about a month ago in east Tennessee. Sale price was $7300.00 plus a helmet tags, tax, etc... Out he door was $8100.00 If your getting an Orange 09 for $8000.00 OTD buy it.

Think im getting worked by the dealer then, because they told me they could put me into the '08 for 7,000 and the '09 for 8,000. Figured i could get them to go a little lower.

May '08...... $6,199.00 plus tax. Some dealers just won't deal or have less incentive if sales are good. Even in the Michigan (USA) economy where you never know if your job is safe, the bikes are selling!

What you need to do is pit the dealerships against each other. Tell them such and such place is offering me $X,XXX out the door, everything included (maybe something like $7600 OTD for the 2009, $6200 OTD for the 2008). See if they'll beat it. Call around. I have about 5 Suzuki dealerships within 200 miles of where I live in Florida, so I can pick and choose. I went with the salesperson and dealership I felt wasn't going to play games, and had a price I was happy with.
