Or go to Sydney, cut off someone on a GSX650, and then have chance to have them follow you to trash your bike and you...

Look for threads by Nitekreeper on how he has reacted to people cutting him off, delaying him, etc....pretty entertaining.

Dont try to push the bike around while standing next to it unless it can't be avoided. Sit on it instead.

Until you put one foot into a hole you didn't spot and then over you both go...

1.) Yes, avoid pothole at all costs

2.) Stay clear of trucks and large vehicles; their tires kick up small rocks and all types of debris.

3.) Keep small children, animals, sharp tools used for modding, and girls (or guys) with rhinestones on their jeans/ purses from posing for pictures on or near your bike

Or you could take your bike into the dealer for some warranty work and let them scratch the hell out of it for you. Some idiot will either scratch the fairing or take a dry rag and run it over your dry, dusty tank and scratch it quite nicely. Morons.

Haha! Don't worry, I am heading into this one soon
But no worries, a tank pad featuring a nekkid slut is already on order to cover the scratches I am about to put into the paint :P
