Did you allready adjust the clutch
lever because it has 5 settings for adjustment, please download the manuals from the link below in signature and read the owner manual if you do not have it.
As the clutch is hydraulic i do not know any orther way of adjustment.
adjust the chrome round bits;

Ok...the adjustments are supposedly to accomodate the span of your hand and in relation to the friction point, that is, the point you pull the lever in towards the handle bar before you engage the clutch. The closer adjustment 1 will mean the travel will be greater before resistance or engagement of the clutch.
I have my setting on 5...as this causes the actuation of the engagement of the clutch as "nearly" soon as you pull the clutch lever in! The advantage of this....is, when you are in motion and changing up or down you do NOT have to pull the lever in very far AT ALL before you actuate the clutch to change down or up.
In particular when you develop the skill to load the gear change lever by putting pressure from your boot under the lever for change ups and over for change downs while matching revs with the aid of the throttle.
The only disadvantage of setting 5 is...the initial reach if you have a small hand span or short fingers...and, you will find the setting 5 on the clutch span adjuster a bit of tension to cope with when you are say, at a set of lights holding the clutch lever in...even though you only have to pull it in a few centimetres before you get to the friction pont (engagement/disengagement).
IMHO adjustment 5 is the best setting, as this allows you the BEST possible chance of smooth gear change up or down with the proper loading of the gear change lever (if you can handle the reach, if not, the closest setting you can manage).
