That is all.
Except to say that my company wasn't exactly shabby - I struggled on the straights...

Lol. Those ZZR's would eat any 600 alive i think. I know the feeling. Riding with a bunch of people on litre V-twins, by the time i used to pull up, they've all but filled up their bike, had a sausage roll at the servo and are geared up to go again! (ok, maybe not that bad, but you get the picture). Give us some more pics of your ride NK. I want to see what the kreeper's crotch rocket looks like!

That's all I took yesterday - I'm for riding, me, not photography...
But the red one was set up as a camera bike, with one GoPro in front and one on the rack facing backwards - there may be some nice action shots from that in the next few days.

EDIT: Just looking at the pic myself, and those front reflectors have REALLY gotta go!

that ZZR1200 is a monster! I've ridden a newer school ZZR6, and it was an absolute riot when I got out all by my lonesome on her.

I wanna try the big bore Z

Straight ends are a bitch on the F, the only straight part you win are the first 10/15 meters from a standstill in front of a traffic light

The 1200 led the way from Robbo to KV - I was right on his tail at every corner, but I'd be in a full tuck to keep up on the straighter bits.
I led the way back from KV to Robbo, and left the pair of them behind - had to stop and wait for them at the turn back onto the highway...
Where the 1200 was backing off to around $1.50 on bends, I was keeping it up around the $1.80 mark most of the way. And given he lives in the area...

But you're welcome to try me ;)

I wouldnt think the zzr's would be that heavy though??? Especially compared to our fat bikes... He should of been able to keep that corner speed up with you and pwned your arse out of the corners with the extra 550cc's of arm ripping power... I call pussy? Or smart for not riding like a maniac on a road, but still... Was he suffering from ladies troubles?

Shoulda, coulda and woulda!
I actually thought he was slowing down "for me" on the way there, so I thought I'd show him he didn't need to on the way back.
It certainly wasn't the bike, and I wouldn't call him a pussy either; I really love that stretch of road though, and I was feeling DAMN good from the moment I pulled my gloves on that morning...

Lol.. Nothing beats the feeling of hammering through a corner at insane lean angles and speeds down an awesome road! Lucky i wear a tinted visor most of the time, cos otherwise all you'd see through my helmet is the big wide grin on my face. Love it! Sounds like you definately know your way around your machine at any rate. Are you or anyone else doing the snowy's ride this year? Wouldn't mind catching up and actually meeting a few of you blokes...

I don't mind admitting this one has been a real challenge, and it's really only the last cuppla rides that I've been happy with my performance. But that just means I can start to push it around a bit; fast roads are one thing but I could use some practise at the technical stuff like Mac Pass...

Nah not me unfortunately, it's precisely 2 days too soon for me ;)

Mac Pass wasnt as fun as i thought it would be... I drove over it in the AU about a year before i tackled it on the bike, and thought it would be awesome... I was sadly disappointed... Too many police and too many cars around to slow you down... And too many fuckwits in those cars who cant handle the road they're driving. Had some stupid bitch in a lancer get sideways as i was overtaking her... Kids in the car, wet road... Almost took me out... I poo'd a little lol. I preffered kangaroo valley to be honest... Not so many people and a hell of a lot less police. Same as when we did the lpine way. No police, no traffic, just had a good clear run. I reckon i'll have to do a track day to learn properly... Then you can just cut lose and really push yourself without the negative factors that are present on roads... s wl as tuition... I'm always keen to learn how to improve myself. Twist of the wrist teaches you most of what you need to know, but the rest has just been a bit of suck it and see education...

I like Mac Pass because it's so very technical - the 2 hairpins at the top are diabolical if you mess them up, especially on the way down. I've seen a few bikes come a cropper on the downhill left-hander, running WAY wide...
The best way to run it is to wait at the bottom/top for a nice long break in the traffic, then be fairly ruthless on the exits - I've never actually seen a copper there so you can pretty much have your way with any traffic you catch.

Oh ...wildes meadow...never heard of it.

If you said king of pearsons lane . 8)

I'm not a fan of the Pass my self ,to many fuck wilts in cars and trucks and bikes ...I like the road its self ,but not with all the other dick heads .
NK you would of seen the video on Netrider last week of the guy on the bike on the pass.
There is normaly a crash every weekend on it.
KV to Nowra is ok..
Nowra to Nerriga is the road of the moment for alot of day trip riders from sydney.

You want Adaminiby (howeer it's spelt) through Providence portal, to Tumbarrumba... It's right on my back door step, excellent bit of road, not so much technical, but just good twisty, flowing roads you can really hook in on and have a dig! Touch wood, i dont think i've ever seen a copper there, and any slow cars or bikes along there I've noticed always move over for you to pass... Or if they dont, theres plent of good straights you can just get past them on...

It says 1 hour and 30 minutes... lol
