Special day today in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

They had a dynostar set up for all visitors.
Well... I had to buy oil and a oilfilter anyway... so why not.

I did not prepare the bike at all.

Top diagram is power and tork
Bottom diagram is Air/fuel ratio.
we can tell now it's running a bit high on fuel , and when it hits 6000rpm it will run a little lean on fuel.

Mind you, I didnot change anything , original sparkplugs, original exhaust, and a used airfilter.
Bike needs service....that's why I went to visit the shop
...(and they had a bbq....free drinks, hotdogs.....)

73,3 BHP @ 10597 RPM @ the wheel
55Nm @ 8181 RPM
Topspeed 224km/h

With my Yoshimura TRC and with the injection very slightly adjusted I got 74.6 hp @ 10685 rpm and 55.5 Nm @ 7960 rpm.
I believe that's pretty typical for "improvement" with a slip on exhaust.

Then again dyno runs are only comparable if done on the same dyno in the same exact conditions. There are many kind of dynos, all adjusted a bit differently, all run by different people of varying skills.
It wouldn't be unusual to get much larger differences just by putting the same bike on two different dynos.

Humidity, temp. altitude, and many other to numerous to mention. But the readings mentioned here are pretty typical of the readings you'll get on most dyno's.

We're finishing up the modifications to the 650F class race bike and hope to get it dyno'ed in the coming weeks. I'll post the results when we get them.

The wheel change, fork and swing arm change, seat, handlebars and other speed mods will not make any difference to the dyno. These are all track mod's that will only show there. Also it depend on how hard Mike dives in the corners as to time around the track. I just build and tune, the crazy stuff we leave up to Mike.....

We'll have pic's of the mods, runs on the dyno from Charlotte and track times in the weeks to come.........
