Well after much considertaion and following all the comments you guys have made so far about it, I finaly adjusted my suspension over the weekend. I went a few notches up on the front (only two rings are visible) and 1 step up on the rear - stock was 3, now changed to 4.
The results are well worth the adjustment. The handling of the bike has improved significantly. The most noticable difference being the stability in corners and just how sharp the steering now is. My 'F' had the tendancy to dive in the front a bit more than I liked going into corners but that is now in the past. On straight runs the overall ability to quickly shift direction (ie: change lanes fast ) has improved 3 fold.
I'll see how I go but I might back the front off a notch if it seems a bit too hard in the front after a week of riding.

Thanks for the review!

I need to do this. I lowered my bike a couple of weeks ago and the suspension feels so light that I feel like I'm going to bottom out on the smallest bump.

I seem to be the exception (as usual). I am well over 200 lbs but even with the stock suspension settings I find that bumps in the road shake me and the bike around. The bike wallows a bit around corners when i am feeling frisky but if I harden the suspension up my fillings are gonna rattle out of my head. I guess I must be living around a lot of bad roads

man! i guess i'm just being a dumbass or something...but how do you adjust the rear suspension??...sorry i'm having a blond moment.
First get yourself to the gym and get those arm muscles pumpin'. The adjustment takes a bit of encouragement.
In your tool kit under the seat you should have what looks like a big hook shaped thing with a lug on the tip. You will also need the round tube that is squashed on end as an extention for extra leverage.
On top of the rear spring coil you will see a ring with holes in it, which is what that little lug on the tool locks into. Do it from the left side of the bike and with the tool rotate the ring pulling the tool towards the fornt of the bike. It does take effort!!!
There is 7 positions (marked on the ring) and yours should be on 3. I only went to 4 and found it suitable. An ideal setting is when you sit on your bike, the rear should only drop around 1 inch.
