I'm fairly sure we're meant to have our tax disc on the left...

If you're still considering covering those red stripes one option you have is a Bagster tank cover. They do not however do a plain blue one for the F - the blue for the K8 model has the white/blue stripe which defeats the object and the one for the Bandit is possibly the right colour but has "Bandit" written across it. You could go for a plain black however. I have the plain blue for the K9 onwards, but that is a different shade. Have a chat with them though - as they are all made to order they could possibly do the Baltic Blue one for you without the logo.

A good bike shop in NJ... hah! I haven't found anything halfway decent around here, I always buy my stuff online. The closest dealerships are both a half hour away in different directions, and these places are just small concrete buildings stuffed with inventory and they'll have maybe a 10ft x 10ft room full of insanely marked up gear and accessories.

Cool to see more people from the Jerz on here though, I can't imagine living any further east of where I am... riding into NYC is fun and all but it may as well be a game of frogger. Where do you guys ride (or used to ride)? There's tons of awesome roads to the north, south, and west of me (I'm about 5 miles north of where Rt 287 and Rt 78 intersect) but I'm curious if there's any hidden gems up closer to the city. I guess if you're up in Wayne you could cut over to Kinnelon and find some twisties, but for some reason that town just gives me the creeps... must be something in the water up there LOL.

When I'm riding in NJ, I'm usually on 78. Only rode in to NYC once; Demolition derby. Might go to the bike show at the Jacob Javit's Center on Saturday.

FYI> I'd stay clear from Motorcycle Mall. Cycle Gear now sells about 60% of it's stock "Built" products. Very cheap. Literally.
