Since there GSX1250F has been introduced, there may be a large number of new owners that will be looking for a forum to talk about their bikes.
The GSX1250F uses a lot of the same components as the GSX650F. Other than a the addition of more torque to the 1250, the two models perform similarly.
Do you think it is a good idea to rename this forum to "gsxf.biz" ?
(Note that there may be some technical issues with server performance that haven't been addressed).
It is a great idea to cover both bikes in the one forum. Good thinking NotSerious. Unfortunately this forum and the way it is structured will not cope for very long.
Maybe someone needs to start up the "www.gsxf-forum.com" on a dedicated server with a proper admin team. It is the only way it can be done effectively.

If you do this, we need to have a better organised forum structure and pages listing modifications etc. I would hate to see everything all mixed up and getting too segmented.
Next we'll be allowing GSF owners in too

I vote no ... As you guys have said ,more people cost more money to run the site .One of the best things about this site is its friendly and we are all on the same bike ,once you start to mix bikes you get alot of ,mine is better and faster and crap. This might not be the flashes site ,but its not over moderated {I think I've monderated twice in 12 months} and not run for a profit with adds and baners etc.

I vote yes.
I really enjoy this forum, but lets face it, it's not very active. That being said, I've been able to find info on pretty much all the questions I've had regarding this bike thus far, and this is my favorite forum by far.
The name would obviously have to be changed... I wouldn't stop at the GSX1250F, I'd include the Bandit 1250/650 too... it's only a flaring that distinguishes the two models.
If sales of the 650F were going to take off, it would have happened already. In order to make this forum a "go to place" it has to evolve.

I voted yes
it seems that while most of us are happy with the 650, some of us might want to trade up to the 1250 someday. for those of us who may be considering it, the input from those who own a 1250 would prove invaluable
also, as we have already learned, there is a lot of interchangeability between the GSX650F and its cousins (bandit 650, bandit 1250, etc.)
I am also on a kawisaki Vulcan forum as well, they cater to different models of the Vulcan brand, I dont know who does the moderating here but i do appreciate their time and effort, probably unpaid. I vote no to keep it simple and relatively add free. While the Vulcan forum is a great forum and members participate from all models of the bikes, remember, somebody has to do all the work. Here's the link to the Vulcan forun to have a look.

I think yes too. Make it GSX650F and GSX1250F forum But only limit the forum to THESE model bikes. Don't make it an overall GSXF forum. This implies inclusive the old F models. I think there is too much difference with the old ones.
About the Bandit..... They've got their own forums already.
