From what I have read, the parts that make up the ABS system would be so expensive, you would be better off selling your current bike and buying one with ABS installed (which, unfortunately, is not an option for you).

I believe abs helps take away the connection from the rider and the road! And that can only be be good thing, except when stopped with your foot down.

Moscol'm here in Brazil and I'm also looking for how to install the ABS system. I already bought by eBay sensors and wheel discs, ABS PUMP, the panel and the whip, just before I asked the mechanic to install the Suzuki and he told me I had to watch as the CDI CDI ABS system information for the ABS system and our CDI here in Brazil not this type information. I've been watching some on eBay with No. 32920-17H00 that says it is with ABS, but I'm in doubt because I do not know if this CDI that in England the sale of the information in miles or kilometers to the panel.
AS the others already stated, genuine Suzuki parts are outrageously expensive (the cooler fan assembly cost all together $600 OEM, the cooler $1200, plus the work to be performed would add up to a 1/3 of the bikes prize.....), making a new buy of a bike almost pretty. I have as a side bike a V-Strom 650 ABS and guys let me tell you, I HATE THAT BIKE!!!! I have had more close calls with that bike than with my SuziF without ABS. Close calls in laying the bike down. Most importantly for me is the contact to the road when I have to perform a hard/fast stop. I feel when the tire starts to skid and can respond accordingly. With the ABS, as it engages, it gives you the feel, as that the bike ain't stopping no more, this was the reason I had to drop it on purpose once, else I would have ended up in the middle of the intersection and would have gotten run over. The system works fine no doubt, yet I doubt that it truly is as helpful as in a car/truck.

One option is to buy every past separately. Other option is to buy a smashed GSF650 / GSF1250 Bandit (watercooled 2005->2011) and us it as a donorbike. Overhere ALL bandits have ABS
Don't forget the dash is different too, and the dash from a Bandit won't fit our fairing. Bikes with ABS have an orange LED extra, so there is an extra wire going to the instrumentpanel.
